Our Leadership: Meet Doug Napier

I founded My Executive Edge because I understand the heavy weight of leading a mission-driven organization. For over 25 years, I have served in the trenches of non-profit leadership, including 18 years as an executive consultant navigating the complex operational, financial, and relational dynamics of thriving multi-site organizations with over 4,500 members. I have served on the board of multiple institutions, including a behavioral health system with 650 employees and $88 million in revenue, a residential recovery organization, a federal corrections complex, and a foster/adoption advocacy group.

Too often, brilliant visionary non-profit leaders get buried in the day-to-day operations. My goal is to give you your "edge" back, moving you from a place of operational fatigue to clear, strategic leadership.

Academic Credentials & Personal Mission

I combine this hands-on experience with a strong academic foundation, including an MBA, a Bachelor’s in Ministerial Studies, and doctoral studies in Strategic Leadership.

More importantly, my dedication to building healthy, sustainable organizations is rooted in my personal life. With 25+ years of marriage and four children, I bring the same core values of faith, stewardship, and longevity to your team.
